From city properties to rural homes, the practical first step is the same: check the exact postcode and confirm whether an electrician can attend. Our founder is based in Inverness, but that does not mean every Scottish postcode has a partner.
Planning a callout in Scotland
For a Highland or island property, tell us about the access route, any ferry connection and whether someone can meet the electrician. Distance and travel arrangements need to be discussed before an arrival estimate is agreed. A nearby town name alone is not enough to confirm attendance.
For flats and tenements, tell us whether the fault is within your home or appears to affect a shared stair, entrance or other communal area. Let us know whether a landlord, factor or other person needs to authorise access or work. We cannot establish responsibility from a website enquiry.
What happens after you contact us?
We discuss the problem, check for a suitable independent electrician and explain the proposed timing and charges before you agree. If nobody is available, attendance has not been arranged. We do not promise a fixed arrival time.

Questions about Scotland
Does an Inverness base mean you only help in the Highlands?+
No. The network is being developed across the UK. The postcode checker shows approved coverage; attendance still needs confirmation.
Can you promise an island or remote-area callout?+
No. We need a suitable local partner and workable access and travel arrangements. If nobody can attend, seek another local electrician.
Electrician working in Scotland?
We welcome applications from electricians who can support their own local Scottish postcode districts. Be specific about rural routes and islands you can reach, and distinguish your normal working area from travel you would only consider by arrangement.
