FROM FIRST REQUEST TO FINISHED WORK

How a callout reaches you.

01

We speak to the customer

The network records the problem and checks for approved, available partners in the postcode district.

02

You respond if it suits you

Review the job in your portal and provide an arrival estimate and relevant notes. A response is not yet a confirmed booking.

03

We confirm the arrangements

After the customer confirms by phone, the assigned electrician receives the customer’s contact and address details.

Get the working agreement clear first.

Before activation, we agree your commercial arrangements directly. You should know:

  • Who invoices and collects from the customer, and when you receive payment.
  • How additional work and materials are authorised.
  • What happens if a customer cancels or you cannot attend.
  • Who handles updates, documentation and any concerns after the job.

You remain an independent business and accept work within your competence. Joining does not guarantee work or a volume of callouts.

Before you switch availability on

  • Your application must be approved and insurance current.
  • Agree the work you can accept, the districts you cover and the commercial arrangements.
  • Keep the portal open and be ready to respond; email, SMS and push alerts are not currently connected.
  • Give a realistic arrival estimate and tell the network promptly if your plans change.
  • Keep the customer informed and provide the relevant paperwork for work completed.

We are building coverage across Scotland, England, Wales and Northern Ireland. Applying does not guarantee work or immediate activation.

A few practical answers.

Can I keep doing my own work?+

Yes. You remain an independent business. Choose your coverage and availability around the work you can realistically accept.

Is each confirmed callout assigned to one electrician?+

Yes. Requests can be visible to eligible partners while we seek a response. A confirmed callout is assigned to one electrician; the customer’s full details are shared with that assigned partner.

How will I see a request?+

Keep your portal open while available. Requests and updates appear there. If you step away, switch your availability off.

What if I cannot attend after responding?+

Contact the network promptly and withdraw through your portal. If the callout has been confirmed, contact the customer too so they are not left waiting.

What do you check before approval?+

We review identity and business details, relevant qualifications, insurance and coverage. We also agree the working arrangements with you before activation.
